ZONING COMMITTEE MEETING
January 21, 2014
A Zoning Committee Meeting of the Town of St. Armand was held on the above date at the Town Hall, Bloomingdale, NY.

TOWN EMPLOYEES PRESENT:

Deputy Supervisor Samuel A. Grimone, Volunteer Patrick Finnegan
Notice was sent to the Adirondack Daily Enterprise regarding this meeting.
Town Supervisor Charles Whitson, Jr. called the meeting to order at 6:32 p.m.
Supervisor Whitson led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Supervisor Whitson opened the Meeting by asking Davina to speak regarding posting the "Best Practice" documents on the website. After discussion, it was agreed that Davina would obtain further information regarding legal issues and costs from Rainbow Graphics and report this information at the next meeting.
Supervisor Whitson gave the floor to Tom Burman, who had drafted a livestock law for the Zoning Committee members to consider. Tom explained his process for the draft and discussion ensued. During discussion, further information was needed regarding Code Enforcement Officer Duties. It was decided that Davina would obtain the job descriptions for CEO, Peace Officer and Constable from Essex County and email the information to the Committee and Tom prior to the next meeting.
Councilperson Amell suggested adding Tom Burman to the Zoning Committee. Supervisor Whitson asked Tom if he would like to join the Committee. Tom agreed pending approval from his attorney.
It was decided that the next Zoning Committee Meeting would be held on March 18, 2014 at 6:30 PM in the Bloomingdale Town Hall.
MOTION TO ADJOURN
Supervisor Whitson adjourned the meeting at 8:23 pm.
